This is a Tried and True product. My oven, refrigerator, and microwave all have this light bulb installed, and they have been providing great light for over 3 years. 

The Generic light bulb (Clear) is rated to last 1,533 hours of normal use. Based on 3 hours use, average, per day, I estimate a life span of 73 weeks (1.4 years). The GE light bulb (Clear GE) is also rated to last 1,533 hours of normal use. Based on 3 hours of use, average, per day, I estimate a life span of 73 weeks (1.4 years). The GE 2x Life light bulb (Clear GE 2x) is rated to last 2,958 hours of normal use. Based on 3 hours of use, average, per day, I estimate a life span of 141 weeks (2.7 years). TuRetire27 (that would be me) offers a 30 day exchange, if the item fails, with normal use, in the first 30 days. 2.8 (generic or standard GE) or 5.4 (GE 2x life bulb) years (previously discussed) is only an estimate, is your oven, refrigerator, or microwave really on for 1.5 hours every day? Mine is not, however, if you are catering and/or baking at home, or if you are in real estate, or if you are the appliance repair folks, it might be a good idea to buy several on one order, it cuts your shipping cost, dramatically.

These are great appliance lights, I have used them for years without issue, other than time. These are iridescent bulbs, built to withstand the extreme temperatures. Over one hundred thousand of each of the two options have been sold in the Post-COVID era and thousands are in use today.

It might be a good idea to buy 2 or 3 per order. (I heard recently that the new thing is to have additional appliances in the garage/shop, den, man cave, etc. By buying multiples, when your old appliance lights die, you can pull a new one out of that drawer in your kitchen.
